Full Internal Health & Safety Protocol – Riad Al Ksar & Spa – aug20

Thank you for visiting Riad Al Ksar & Spa. Our establishment has reinforced its Sanitary Protocols & Products according to the government recommendations and professional standards of the Hotel and Spa industry. In order to limit the spread of Sras-CoV-2 and to guarantee the safety of its clients and staff, Your Client Path (in Rooms, Spa, Breakfast, Common Areas…) has been adapted, so that you can enjoy the Riad as comfortably as possible. Together, we strive to offer you a safe and healthy environment.

Access to the Riad & Spa :

Access to Riad Al Ksar & Spa is by Reservation Only. Any person accessing Riad Al Ksar is subject to the Health Barrier Gestures (foot bath, hand washing, taking temperature). Each guest will be guided by our team present 24/7. The Riad is equipped with 2 touch-free bathrooms on the ground floor and 1 bathroom on the terrace.

Client Protocol :

It is compulsory to wear a mask when moving around the establishment and at all times at the Spa, depending on the treatments being practised. Masks and Washing and/or Disinfecting Solution are available free of charge within the Riad. Spa guests are required to take a Shower before and after their treatments. Riad Al Ksar only offers Private Spa Treatments for individuals or couples. An email address is required from all guests for health traceability.

Reception :

Contactless Express Check In – Out (payment by Phone & Internet in Euros, Electronic Invoice) are available. The Electronic Payment Terminal is disinfected each time it is used. A Plexiglass Screen isolates the Customer and the Receptionist.

Common Areas :

Wearing a mask is obligatory when moving in the common areas. A distance of 1m50 between different customers or with staff is required. The Relaxation & Catering Areas at the Patio, Terrace or around the Swimming Pool are all accessible. They have been divided into Private Areas of at least 10m2 with “Safe & Clean” signs (blue) indicating the Healthy Areas (vertical sign: healthy / horizontal sign: to be cleaned). The armchairs are equipped with washable plastic armrests. Bleach is used for the swimming pool and is therefore safe to use. The Common Areas are regularly disinfected, particularly the Contact Points (ramps, handles, buttons, etc.). The use of the communal toilets is possible on request at the Reception.

In your room :

Your room has been aired, cleaned and disinfected before your arrival with a Virucidal anti Covid-19 Biodegradable Cleaner (Standard EN 14476 : Hydrogen Peroxide 0.5%). Between stays, the Non-Use Periods of the Rooms are extended (as far as possible). Your room Key is disinfected and you only manipulate it. A packet of 10 disposable masks and a refillable bottle of Hydroalcoholic Ethanol 83° Solution Spray are offered to you on arrival in your room. The Bed & Bath Linens are washed at +60° & + of 30mn. Our technical areas Clean & Dirty are insulated. The staff is disinfected between each cleaning of the room & the materials are disinfected or changed (cloths…). Daily Room Cleaning are made on request of the Client only and in order to limit the risks of contamination. Restaurant & Breakfast Services are available in the room. Our staff is equipped with personal protective equipment and trained in Barrier Gestures and Strict Hygiene Procedures, and supervised.

 Breakfast & Restaurant :

Your individual Breakfast and meal formulas are served on the Terrace, or on the Patio, on Isolated Tables in a private area (+10m2). The Production, Service and Clearing of your personal breakfast and lunches, dinners or snacks are carried out according to Rigorous Hygiene Measures (employees, food, utensils…). The cutlery and utensils for Breakfast & Restaurant are washed and disinfected with an anti Covid-19 Biodegradable Food Virucidal Cleaner (Standard EN 14476 : Hydrogen Peroxide 0.5%). The Menus are only visually viewable. Fruits & Vegetables are not washed with Chlorine or Bleach. Foodstuffs and Food Packaging are managed according to strict queuing procedures and Hygiene.

Spa Treatments:

Your Welcome to the Spa is entirely taken care of by our Staff. Our Spa Treatments are Exclusively Private in Individual or Duo rooms. Spa clients are required to take a compulsory shower before and after their treatments. Riad Al Ksar only offers Private Spa Treatments for Individuals or Couples. Wearing a mask is mandatory during Spa Treatments (except for facial treatments). Your individual locker contains your disinfected bathrobe & sandals. Your locker key is disinfected and only manipulated by you. Our Private Hammam is aired, washed and disinfected between Clients. A Personal Towel is provided to sit on the Hammam bench. Spa Cloths & Staff T-shirts are changed at each Client and disinfected by washing at 60 degrees. Our Spa Rooms (changing rooms, cabins, relaxation areas, sanitary facilities, reception…) are ventilated, cleaned and disinfected, and the equipment is disinfected or changed between each Client as well, according to strict procedures. The Non-Use Periods of the Spa cabins are extended, as far as possible, to allow for longer cleaning and ventilation times. Our cleaning products contain a Virucidal anti Covid-19 Biodegradable Cleaner (Standard EN 14476 : Hydrogen Peroxide 0.5%). Our Staff is equipped with individual protective equipment: masks, or even glasses, visor, gloves depending on the care. They are trained in Barrier Gestures and Strict Hygiene Procedures, and supervised. The health of our staff is checked every morning.

Private Airport Transfers :

Our Airport Transfer Operator applies strict procedures for your Airport Transfer to the Riad. Vehicles are disinfected & ventilated between each client. Luggage is disinfected with 83° Ethyl Alcohol at the entrance of the Riad.

Our Staff :

Our staff is equipped with Personal Protection equipment : masks, goggles, visors, gloves. They are trained in barrier gestures and health procedures and are supervised to protect themselves and others. The health of our staff is paramount and is checked every morning. The Spa Practitioners’ T-Shirts are changed for each client. Each access to the rooms is subject to washing & disinfection of the Protective Equipment and Work Materials. The Kitchen & Service team washes & disinfects their hands for every order & customer service. The Staff has an individual locker and clean & disinfected professional clothing every day.

Our Commitments :

Our Premises (bedrooms, Spa, corridors, common areas, kitchen, reception…) are ventilated, cleaned and disinfected according to strict procedures. Our cleaning products contain a Virucidal anti Covid-19 Biodegradable Cleaner (Standard EN 14476 : Hydrogen Peroxide 0.5%). Bed & Bath & Spa Linens are changed at each client and disinfected internally by washing at 60 degrees 30mn minimum. Our staff is equipped with individual protective equipment and trained in Barrier Gestures and Strict Hygiene Procedures. The health of our staff is checked each time they take up their post.

In the event of a positive or sick Covid-19 employee or client, a Quarantine and Medical Call Procedure is in place at the Riad. If necessary, please contact the manager, who is present on site. He is the Health Referral.
